Wow, I totally abandoned/forgotten this blog for like 2 days. Okay, so I went to work on, I forgot Tuesday or Wednesday, so my mom could have half of the day off. And Maggie, I know how you felt when the customers called back and said that I messed up the order even though I repeated it back to them right before I hung up. Were they even listening or... Anyways, the next day I went to NY with my mom to do some business. And by business I mean going to eat at this super fancy restaurant and then going to karaoke in the middle of the night. I think I also gained a few pounds by going there. Jaykay, we did all that but the main reason we came was to pick up my grandpa from the airport. But also coincidentally, my mom's friends planned a reunion on the same day. There was about 5 of my mom's friends who came to eat dinner with us. And let me tell you, Asian women + fancy restaurant does not go well together. When they finished eating and scream laughing, they ALL got up and stood in front of the wall behind us and took pictures for the entire 30 minutes. I can't tell you how many looks we have gotten, but it was fun all the same. xD They were apparently kindergarten-6th grade friends, but they still keep connected. I wish I could that with my friends, then we could embarrass our kids too. =D After they finished, we were planning to say our farewells but someone got the idea of going to Karaoke and the next thing I know, they're all getting super high and singing at the top of their lungs inside the room. Two of my mom's friends brought their kids with them too so at least I had company. And Maggie, if you're reading this, Benny was there too. LOOOL He's not derpy anymore. My mom and her best friend left first so they could pick up my grandpa and I had to stay behind because there was no more room in the car for me. 10 minutes later, our 2 hours was up and we needed to leave. They were all getting, "STAY WELL, SEE YOU SOON!!!11!" and "STOP GETTING SO FAT, BYE." So yeah, Benny's dad came to pick me and Benny up and we walked back to his place. We were going to stay there for the night and catch the 8 o'clock bus back to Philly in the morning. My mom and Benny's mom (my mom's best friend) came back with McDonalds for us and I ate and I slept right after. In the morning, my mom woke me up an hour earlier because she thought it was past 8. My mom, her best friend, and me went to eat breakfast at DunkinDonuts and walked to the bus. We go on the bus and my mom's best friend left. The reason we had to go back to Philly so early was because of my eye appointment and to get my roster for high school. I slept the whole way back LOL. ....wow is this a long post or what. Too bad I'm not done yet. Here are some pictures. Damn, I need to learn how to upload picture from the ipad.
