Damn Contacts
written on Friday, August 10, 2012 @ 9:51 PM ✈

I had a dream last night that I got my contacts out easily and was rejoicing on how I can put them in and take them out in a short period of time. But then I woke up and realized that they were still in and that I still needed to get them out. Also, to make matters worse, it was raining/thundering outside so that made me reconsider my trip out to Chinatown.
Walking to the bathroom, I already knew I would have a hard time taking them out. One and a half hour later, I gave up. So I went to my mom for help and ended up only getting my right lens out. even though I was flinching and moving away like a bitch. When she started on my left eye, it somehow slipped away from the center and into the corner of my eye. Every time I moved my eye, it feels like it would cut through my flesh and go behind my eye, so I covered it with my hand to make it stay in the same spot.
And with that, my mom decided to drive me to Chinatown where my eye doctor was and ask him to get it out for me. I covered that eye and looked at the floor the entire way there. When we got there, he got it to the center for me by rubbing the corner of my eye and making me look the opposite way. It left like a red trail behind though. o3o He got it out for me and put eye drops in. And omg, the moment it got out felt like heaven. He's so nice too, even told me I could go there the next day if it ever got "stuck." LOL
After that, I realized that I was in such a panic getting here, I forgot that I planned to give in my permission slip for Dorney. Darn it, I have to give it in tomorrow plus an extra 5 dollars for a late fee or something.
We went to pick up Mandy and Alston from school and ate at Pho and also saw Ada and her friend eating there. I came home stressed out about how I have to take out my contacts again tomorrow and give in the permission slip.
This might have been the most hectic day ever.
